Drawing is the foundation for every project and inks are made using trees, plants and the earth to create a softness and calm in the mark making.

These drawings are created using seasonal inks made by the artist from Alder and Elder trees and drawn using Japanese dip pens, onto handmade cotton.

The walnut wood frames are made locally using UV glass to protect the delicate inks.

Blossom Follows Bare Branches 1 has made from Elderflower Ink using the blossoms that emerge from bare branches in spring.
